Mohammed H. S. Zangana, Executive Publisher 

Mohammed H. S. Zangana is currently the President of Koya University , since August 2022, and a member of Petroleum Engineering Department teaching staff since 2004. Dr. Zangana has a Ph.D.  degree from Nottingham Universit on Multiphase Flow for oil and gas production. In addition to the Kurdistan Regional Government and Koya University, his PhD research project was part from TMF funded by a number of world's well-known oil and gas companies such as; BP Exploration; Chevron; ExxonMobil; Petrobras; PETRONAS; Shell; Statoil and TOTAL. During his Msc study at Baghdad University, the Natural Gas processing was the focus of Dr. Zangana's Research work. Dr. Zangana is very active researcher especially in the fields of multiphase flow, natural gas processing, renewable energy and environment. He has many publications in well known journals and international conferences and he has been awarded a number of international grants for his research projects. (see TAP). Dilan M. Rostam, Editor-in-Chief

 


Dilan M. Rostam (Roshani) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering at Koya University since 2012. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering/Structural design using computer application from Chalmers University in Sweden. He also has a Ph.D. in Civil /Structural Engineering using virtual collaborative design from University of Nottingham, UK. Dr Rostam has long industrial experience in e.Management and applied computer in design work with several published articles. Dr. Rostam's expertise include virtual collaboration and IT strategy in Higher Education, promoting student centered green, paperless university in an e-Smart academic community. As a lecturer Dr. Rostam laid the foundation for a new novel course module "Vernacular Architecture in Kurdistan" which is unique in the region exploring native building habits in Kurdistan. He was member of Executive Editorial of the first Kurdish Scientific eJournal ZANÍN published by Kurdish Scientists and MDs in United Kingdom (KMSF), He is Editor-in-Chief of Aro the Scientific Journal of Koya University since it has been established in Jan 2013. Salah I. Yahya, Managing & Executive Editor

Salah I. Yahya is a Professor, joined the Department of Software Engineering at Koya University in 2010. He has a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Communication and Microwave Engineering. He is a Consultant at the Iraqi Engineering Union. Dr. Yahya has many scientific publications in well known WoS journals. He is a senior member of the IEEE-USA and a member of AMTA-USA, SDIWC-Hong Kong. Dr. Yahya is a regular reviewer of the Electromagnetics Academy, Cambridge, USA, PIERS Journals publications, since 2009, Science and Engineering of Composite Materials journal and International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics, as well as, a regular reviewer of SDIWC conferences. Basim M. Fadhil, Executive Editor

Basim M. Fadhil is a Professor, working at the Department of Automative Technology in the Technical College of Erbil Polytechnic University. He has a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. degree in Applied Mechanics and Ph.D. degree in Applied Mechanics. Fahmi F. Muhammad, Executive Editor

Fahmi Fariq is an Assistant Professor, head of Physics Department and Group Leader (SMDRG) at the Department of Physics, Koya University, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Sulaimani and University of Mosul in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He completed his PhD at the Department of Physics, University of Malaya in 2012. He was the Gold Medal winner during his PhD study. He held the position of head of Physics Department from 2013-ongoing. His current research interests include fabrication of organic electronic devices and investigating their materials properties. Wali M. Hamad, Executive Editor

Wali M. Hamad is a Professor at the department of Chemistry, Koya University. He got his Ph.D. degree in the field of physical chemistry (Liquid crystal) at the University of Baghdad in 2001. He has served as dean of the Koya Technical Institute from May 2004 to November 2010. Dr Weli led at the same time the Department of Oil Refinery for one year. He also actively worked for establishing the College of Science at Koya university. Dr. Hamad is an active member of the Teacher Federation and the Physics and Chemistry Society of Kurdistan. He has a number of scientific articles and books in the field of physical chemistry, and advanced thermodynamics as well as in fields of cultural science and politics which appeared in numerous peer-reviewed national and international journals and magazines. Jorge Correia, Executive Editor

Jorge Correia holds a degree in Architecture (1999) and a PhD by the School of Architecture / University of Porto, Portugal, in 2006. He has been working on the formal aspects of the Portuguese presence in the Maghreb through research projects or scientific commissariats, regularly publishing articles, book chapters, presenting papers in the field and invited to lecture or teach abroad such as UFRJ and UFES in Brazil or UJI in Spain. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture/University of Minho at Guimarães, Portugal, supervising various Master and PhD thesis. He is also a researcher at the Landscape, Heritage andTerritory Lab (Lab2PT), where he coordinates de ‘Space and Representation’ group, and at the Centre for the Humanities (CHAM), Lisbon. He was a Visiting Scholar Fellow at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) and a mobility staff fellow at An Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine, and at Koya University, Kurdistan, Iraq. His main research interests are devoted to the study of architectural and urban aspects of the European colonial geographical and historical expansion sphere (15th to 19th centuries), the cultural faces and challenges of heritage, as well as traditional Islamic cities’ studies and their representation. Fouad Mohammed, Executive Editor

Fouad Mohammad is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture Design and the Built Environment, Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. Dr. Fouad teaches structural analysis for all levels of the undergraduate Civil Engineering Programme, and structural appraisal and defects diagnosis of buildings for the B.Sc. Building Surveying programme. He teaches structural analysis at an advanced level for the Postgraduate Civil Engineering Programme and supervises the research work of B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. Civil Engineering students. His research areas: Designed Environment, Analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures, Finite element methods in structural and solid mechanics, Railway track foundation, Soil-structure interaction. Jacek Binda, Executive Editor

Jacek Binda is an Associate Professor at the Bielsko-Biala School of Finance and Law, Poland. He a has Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and MD degree from the Department of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, Silesian University of Technology. Nadhir Al-Ansari, Executive Editor

Nadhir Al-Ansari is a Professor in Soil Mechanics at the Luleå University of Technology, Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering. Howri Mansurbeg, Executive Editor

Professor Howri Mansurbeg is a Petroleum Geoscientist with particular expertise in diagenesis, sequence stratigraphy, and reservoir characterization of siliciclastics and carbonates. He has obtained his PhD from Uppsala
University, Sweden, in 2007. His current research deals with hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in carbonate reservoirs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the United Arab Emirates utilizing an integrated multidisciplinary approach. Mansurbeg has worked for several international oil companies in Europe and the US and has produced numerous technical reports and research articles in the past 15 years. He has held several prestigious academic and managerial positions both in Europe and in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Tara Fuad Tahir, Executive Editor

Tara F. Tahir is a lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Health, Koya University, where she has been a faculty member since 2007. She was head of the Department of Chemistry from 2013-2017. Tara completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Electrochemistry at Universiti Sains Malaysia . Her research interests lie in the area of sensors, electrochemistry and analytical techniques. Yazen A. Khaleel, Executive Editor

Yazen A. Khaleel is an assistant professor; he is an academic staff member in the department of Software Engineering - Faculty of Engineering at Koya University. In 1995 He got his B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering. He has MSc degree in Signal processing and PhD degree in Electronics and Digital Signal processing.
